Under Armour Athlete of the Week: Week 10 Winner

WOODSTOCK, GA -- Georgia high school football fans flooded last week's voting for 11Alive and Atlanta.HighSchoolSports.net's Under Armour Athlete of the Week. All three candidates were deserving, but the fans decided that last week's award most belonged to a defensive player.

Etowah linebacker Christian Harris came away with the Athlete of the Week award for his performance against Woodstock on Oct. 22. The middle linebacker returned an interception for a touchdown in his team's 17-14 overtime win.

Harris was also instrumental in helping the Etowah defense on a key goal line stand. He is committed to play for the University of Tennessee.

You can see a story on Harris on 11Alive's HighSchoolSports.net on Friday, Nov. 5 at 10:30 p.m. on MyATLTV.

Will Brewster was also up for last week's award. The Pace Academy quarterback threw four touchdown passes in the Knights' 31-21 win over Holy Innocents.

Grady running back Marcus Caffey, the third nominee for Athlete of the Week, scored his team's only points en route to a 7-6 over St. Pius. Caffey rushed for 153 yards on 19 carries, including the touchdown that won the Knights the game.

Caffey currently holds offers from several SEC and ACC schools.
