Chattahoochee Tech to hold employer seminar
ACWORTH, Ga. -- Chattahoochee Technical College will host "Risks and Opportunities of Being an Employer," a seminar for business owners and managers, later this month at its North Metro campus.
The event will be Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 7:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. It costs $10 to attend.
"Employers will have an opportunity to receive concentrated learning on key topics they need to understand for successful business management," Raushanah Butler, CTC's economic development coordinator, said of the seminar. "Participants will be able to get questions answered by an experienced panel in legal, HR, payroll and workers comp issues. The unique mix of panel members with specialized experience, combined with timely and key topics provides area business managers with a valuable opportunity to advance their business skills and effectiveness."
Topics to be discussed include employee satisfaction, payroll administration and effective safety programs.
