WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- Second graders at Carmel Elementary school created a project to help young sick patients at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Beautifully decorated boxes were set out to collect new toys that would help bring joy to children that were hospitalized during the holiday months. The second grade students and teachers encouraged others students at Carmel Elementary School to participate and help make these children smile! The project ran during the holiday season to further develop the concept that it is better to give than to receive.
