Police searching for fraud suspect

WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- Woodstock Police are looking for a local man suspected of stealing and using a woman's debit card.

The victim reported her wallet missing on Sept. 18; she told police that she believed it fell through the cushions of the seats at Cherokee 16 Cinemas on Buckhead Crossing, where she was seeing a movie.

Two days later, the woman learned that a debit card in her wallet had been used at several stores, including CVS, on Towne Lake Parkway, according to police.

Video surveillance from the CVS showed 28-year-old Terrance May using the card. He worked at the movie theater where the victim lost her wallet; when police tried to arrest him at work, he managed to get away.

May faces charges of theft, identity fraud and credit card fraud.

Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts is asked to call Woodstock Police at 770-592-6030.
