Woodstock Man Arrested for Child Molestation
WOODSTOCK, GA -- On Friday, Sept. 24, Woodstock Police detectives arrested 37-year-old Robert Hanshaw of Woodstock and charged him with one count of aggravated child molestation.
Hanshaw is accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old family member at a Woodstock extended stay hotel in late August.
The complaint, which was filed by the child's legal guardian, was reported originally to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office. The case was transferred to Woodstock Police detectives, since the hotel is located within the corporate limits of Woodstock.
Hanshaw remains in custody without bond at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
