Woodstock to install an Electric Vehicle Charging Station

WOODSTOCK, Ga. – Woodstock will become the first municipality in the state of Georgia to get an Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVSE). The EVSE will benefit residents and visitors; Woodstock studied the demand for charging stations “based on the proliferation of electric vehicles that will be hitting the marker in the next 12 months”.

The city will begin with one charging station and others will be installed over time. According to mayor Donnie Henriques, "We are proud to be the first Municipality in the State to have this service made available to its residents. Woodstock, sometimes known as Greenstock, will continue to lead the pack in innovative ways to go-green."!

The charging station will be located adjacent to the historic Train Depot at 251 East Main Street and will be provided free to the public.
