Woodstock Police looking for accused flasher

WOODSTOCK, Ga. – Police in Woodstock are looking for a suspect they said exposed himself to a boy in the Deer Run Subdivision last Thursday evening.

Police said the boy was walking home on Running Deer Parkway near Moccasin Trail when a man appeared from the bushes and exposed himself. The youngster quickly dialed 911, and the suspect immediately fled the area.

According to Woodstock Police, a perimeter was established around the area while officers with the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office searched the area. The search – which included K-9 units – continued to the Buckhead Crossing area, but did not locate the suspect.

A GBI forensic artist met with the boy to help compose a sketch of the suspect. Investigators said the suspect is a white male, between 25 and 35 years in age, with shaggy brown hair. They said he was wearing a black tank top, blue jeans and black shoes at the time of the incident.

Anyone with any information about the suspect is asked to call the Woodstock Police Department's Criminal Investigations Unit at 770-592-6030.
