2 arrested in shooting death of smoke shop clerk

WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- Two men have been arrested in the shooting death of a clerk at a Woodstock smoke shop.

Justin Clay White, 25, of College Park and Dominique Rashad Stevens, 22, of Atlanta were taken into custody Friday in Jefferson Parish, La. They were caught by members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Stevens and White were charged with murder in the death of 20-year-old Enrique "E.J." Delos-Reyes, Jr. The victim worked at Smoke 911 in the 8200 block of Highway 92 in Woodstock.

The shop was robbed May 20 at around 11:45 p.m., about 15 minutes before it was scheduled to close for the night.

Woodstock Police Chief Calvin Moss said two men were involved in the robbery. A witness told police the suspects followed him into the store and tried to rob it, then shot the clerk once.

The suspects drove away in a gray four-door BMW sedan with a dealer tag.

Delos-Reyes was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead the next morning.

There was one customer inside the shop at the time. He was not hurt.
