Man charged with assaulting police | News

WOODSTOCK, Ga. – Authorities have arrested a man accused of assaulting police.

Investigators say officers with the Woodstock Police Department were called to 35-year-old William Candler's home last Wednesday for a suicide threat call.

Once officers arrived, Candler allegedly pointed a firearm at them.
