Woodstock upholds ATV ordinance

WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- Beginning this weekend, Woodstock Police will aggressively enforce the city's all-terrain vehicle ordinance on trail systems, especially in and around Rope Mill Park.
Officers plan to patrol the area to reduce ATV damage to public trails. In addition to being a safety issue, these incidents also have major economic and environmental impacts.
ATV riders face several potential citations, including a $1,000 fine and their ATVs being impounded.
Examples of ATVs include off-road motorcycles, three-wheelers and four-wheelers.
