CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. -- Nearly 50 high school seniors at Cherokee County's six high schools committed to play college-level sports on National Signing Day.

The talented student-athletes and their parents were honored at a special brunch at Northside Hospital-Cherokee in Canton on Wednesday.

Many of the students signed to prestigious NCAA Division I schools, including Georgia Tech, Harvard University, the U.S. Air Force Academy and the University of Georgia.
