First AT&T-owned Wireless Retail Store Opens in Woodstock

Recently, AT&T announced the opening of its first AT&T-owned wireless retail store in Woodstock. The store will celebrate its grand opening with festivities on Saturday, January 15 beginning at 10:00am.

The Saturday event will include a pair of tickets to the Daytona Race on Feb. 20. A retired 2007 Ford Fusion Race Car will be on hand from 12pm-4pm and radio station Kicks 101.5 will conduct a remote from 1pm-3pm -drawing the grand prize winner.

The new store, located at 8989 Highway 92 next to Home Depot in Woodstock, has more than 3,200 square feet and is designed to provide residential and business customers with an interactive and informative hands-on experience when shopping for wireless, broadband and entertainment services.

The new Woodstock store is led by manager Tiffany Bridges. Store hours are Monday - Saturday 9:00am - 8:00pm/ Sunday 12:00 noon - 6:00pm. The phone number is (770) 591-2131.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- Are your kids preventing you from getting your holiday shopping done?

The City of Woodstock is here to help!

On Friday, Dec. 17, the Woodstock Community Center (108 Arnold Mill Road, Building C, Woodstock, 30188) will entertain local children while their parents enjoy a little peaceful holiday shopping.

The service will be available from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Movies, fun, games and food will be provided for children ages five to 12. Reservations are required; the center will not accept at-the-door dropoffs.

Shop with a Cop Less Than a Month Away

WOODSTOCK, GA -- This year's Shop with a Cop event, hosted by the Woodstock Police Department, will take place on Friday, Dec. 10 at 7:00 p.m.

The annual outing helps children whose families are facing financial difficulties by taking them Christmas shopping. Kids have lots of fun shopping with Woodstock's men in blue.

Shop with a Cop will be at Walmart Supercenter (12182 Highway 92, Woodstock, 30188). Donations are greatly appreciated.
