CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. -- Sandy Giudice, a third grade teacher at Macedonia Elementary School in Canton, has been named the 2013 Cherokee County Teacher of the Year.

Giudice and all the school-level winners were honored at a banquet last month at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Conference Center in Canton.

Every winner received a $100 Visa gift card and a special congratulations from Cherokee County Superintendent Dr. Frank Petruzielo.
