The show featured live performances by cloggers from Woodstock-based PowerTaps and the Jeffery Alan Byrd Band. The band will perform again at Friday Night Live's Main Street Luau.

It's just one of several popular summer events in the weeks ahead.

Friday Night Live Main Street Luau

Friday June 1, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Downtown Woodstock is celebrating the start of summer vacation with a Main Street Luau. It's this month's theme for Friday Night Live. The first Friday of every month, Friday Night Live transforms Downtown Woodstock into a festival like atmosphere with live music and themed activities.Area merchants stay open extra late, until 9 p.m. for festivities.


Wing & Rock Fest

Saturday June 2, Noon to 10 p.m.
Sunday June 3, Noon to 7 p.m.

The 7th Annual 97.1 The River Wing & Rock Fest will be held at the Park at City Center in Downtown Woodstock. Sample chicken wings from area restaurants. Enjoy the best wing & wing eating competitions, continuous live music, a kids zone, arts and crafts, and lots of options for food and drinks. Admission is free. No outside food or beverages are allowed.


Woodstock Summer Concert Series featuring Blackberry Smoke

Saturday June 9, 7:30 p.m.

The Woodstock Summer Concert Series is celebrating its 15th year, so put on your dancing shoes! The free concerts take place in the Park at City Center in Downtown Woodstock. Next Saturday's band is Blackberry Smoke. Don't miss the food vendors at the concert as well as kid friendly activities like a moonbounce and face painting.
